Reform Medicaid and make states accountable by establishing block grants. States have improperly shifted their Medicaid cost to the
federal government. Medicaid was designed as a joint state-federal health care
program for the poor.  However, on
average, the federal government pays about 57% of the cost (more than half)
which will total roughly $204 billion in federal share and $357 billion
combined. The solution is block grants. This would allow Congress to control the
amount of federal spending each year and take the ever-growing program off
autopilot.

this is great. I feel the governement is doing nothing to fix entitelments and reduce the size and scope of the fed governement. I think block grants are a good idea to limit the states from taking so much money. Many states think the fed goverment is the answer instead of fixing thier own problems!
